The National White Water Centre is based on the River Tryweryn; a truly wild mountain river in the heart of Snowdonia, North Wales. Since pioneering commercial white water rafting in the UK, the centre has hosted several canoeing world championships and remains the nation's favourite white water destination. On offer is a huge array of heart-pumping white water activities which will test your nerve and leave you thoroughly soaked! The Tryweryn is a dam-released river, so water often thunders down its rapids while other rivers are dry, producing year round white water, in a breathtaking natural environment.
