Based at Canolfan Tryweryn this four day course is a combination of theory and practical sessions based both in the classroom and outdoors, making this a dynamic and lively learning environment.
In addition to the standard syllabus the course will look at problems common to the outdoors/water-based environment including hypothermia, immersion, sprains and dislocations and will focus on practical and realistic solutions to these and other common illnesses/injuries.
These additional topics make this an ideal course for anyone working/involved in the outdoor sector.
This four day course is recognised by the BCU/WCA and the MLTB and meets the requirements for Health & Safety at Work.
