The Orca Adventure
Water, Water Everywhere... So what is it? Imagine you’re rafting except that the boat is made for 2 people not for 7, like rafting. And the guide isn’t in it!Before you brave the rapids on your own, you will get a chance to familiarise yourself with the steep and rocky course in our 14 foot inflatable rafts, with an experienced guide steering the boat. Once you become more confident paddlers, you will be more than prepared to face new and exciting challenges in the Orcas.
Your qualified guide will be in a kayak offering you some expert advice and teaching you how to read the water and control the boat yourself. This is the ultimate thrill for people who are looking for a cross between whitewater rafting and canoeing.
The boat used is a custom built Eurocraft Orca two-man inflatable raft and can be paddled by one or two people.
Remember to smile for the camera on the way down!
Minimum age for both Orca experiences is 16 years and over.
Short Session Orca
A one hour taster rafting session to begin with, followed by three and a half hours in our two man rafts with a guide alongside in a kayak.
Available on selected mornings and afternoons. This session is now longer than half a day so is no longer able to run twice per day.

Full Day Orca Session
A two hour rafting session first thing in the morning, followed by an introduction to the Orcas before lunch (not provided). After the break you will be back on the water in the Orcas for a full afternoon tackling the rapids.
