Locations

There are 3 classrooms on the National White Water Centre (NWWC) site: Arenig, Aran and Berwyn. The location of these classrooms is marked on the map overleaf, as well as the most convenient car park for accessing the rooms.

Conditions of Use

Group leaders must ensure that members of their group do not knowingly suffer from any medical condition which might render them unfit to participate in their training at the NWWC.

Centre staff reserve the right to refuse participation for anyone considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The NWWC is unable to accept liability in respect to loss or damage to property, however caused, whilst at the Centre.

All groups must be signed in by the group leader at reception where you will be given keys and an equipment box for your classroom.

Should you encounter unauthorised users in any of the classrooms, please inform centre staff at your earliest convenience.

Toilets, changing rooms and the kitchen are all based in ‘Arenig’, this is the largest of the classroom buildings for which there is a map overleaf.

All classrooms have telephones; you can contact the centre reception by dialling 100.

‘Aran’ is the wet classroom and is suitable for practical rescue courses and has a drying room attached where you can dry your kit overnight if you’ve hired the classroom for a couple of days.

The group leader will be held liable for any damage caused to the classroom which has been hired for the duration of the hire.
  At the end of the day please lock the classroom and return the keys and classroom equipment box, all contents included. If the main centre is closed when you finish for the day, please leave the equipment box in the classroom, lock the classroom door and post the keys through the letterbox of the main centre.

Cancellations

Should you cancel your booking, for any reason, less than 30 days before your event there will be no refunds and the full amount will be payable.

Notes for Group Leaders

All group leaders should ensure that their group are aware of the terms and conditions. It is the group leader’s responsibility to ensure that their group abides by these conditions at all times.
